Q1: If I want to haveyour service, when should I make the appointment?
A: For qualityservice, please make your appointment 1 month prior to your flightschedule. We will initiate our action to ensure a safelanding and house settlement.
Q2:It is my first visit to Taiwan. What matters need attention?
A : We will providethe briefing as well as some quick facts and recommendations about TaiwanShould you have any specific questions or concerns, we are always ready toanswer.
Q3:Are there any tips on landing at the airport?
A : Due to Covid-19, the rules of borderquarantine could be updated quickly depending on the actual situation at thetime. We will keep an eye on the rules, policies, and regulation changes andthen send a notice of the above changes.
Q4:How can LIT team find the right apartment for me??
A: For efficiency, we will managerequests to understand your demands, preference, budget range & time schedule before the landing. When we come to an agreement, the search is kicked offright away! The more we know yourneeds, wants, and dislikes for your living situation, the better chance we haveof finding an apartment for you. The best listings are usually picked up within 72hours, which is why we need to work quickly! We hope to provide some listings during your quarantineperiod, for your review.
Q5:What’s the difference between LIT& arental agent?

Q6:Will you provide your own listings orshould Ifind them bymyself on 591?
A: We will search from any rental groups in Taiwan (including 591) foryou. We usually provide youwith at least 5 listings for you to visit each week. Of course, if there is a listingthat catches your eye, we encourage you to share it with us.
Q7:Will you arrange a viewing if I’minterested in one of the listings?
A: Yes, we will contact the landlord for a viewing if the listing is still available. Of course, we will be there with you to ensure all of your questions getanswered.
Q8:How do you conduct anapartment viewing?
A: We are aware that some landlordspost fake pictures on their websites. We accompany youto the apartment so we can check for water damage, equipment malfunctions,air/lighting, etc. We can also check the neighborhood, transportation, andconvenience stores, to make sure you feel comfortable in your new neighborhood.
Q9:What do I do when I find anapartment I like?
A: Once you are sure, we will arrangea 2nd meeting between you and thelandlord. We encourage you topay the deposit, then the landlord isn’t allowed to show the apartment to anyone else. The deposit is not refundable if caused by yourpersonal reasons. But it is refundable if caused by the landlord. We will goover the contract with you and be sure you feel comfortable before signing.Once you’ve signed the contract, you’ll need to pay one month rent and two months of deposit.
Q10:Will you help review the rental contract?
A: Yes, we will help review the rental contract and explain each part before you sign.We’ll also be with you when you sign the contract.
Q11:: Will you help if we need to contact the landlord after the contract?
A: We offer a 7-day buffer service timeafter the apartment contract signing for post communication if any.
Q12:What is an AgentFee?
A: We can’t guarantee that a listing isindependent from an agency. If the listing is posted by aRental Agent, it means the landlord only rents through anagent. In thatcase, the tenant would be expected to pay an additional fee. The Agent Fee, usually half-month of the rent, is paid on the contract signing date. If you don’twant to pay an additional fee, we will try to help you find an apartmentwithout a Rental Agent.
Q13: What extra costs might I acquire during a move?
A: You might have extra costs, such as agency services, cleaning, packing, moving, and grocery shopping.
