Do you want to convert your home scooter or car license into a Taiwanese license, but don’t know Chinese, what the process is or where to start? ADor-Biker is here to help! We take care of all of the communication and checking with government offices, provide the correct paperwork, accompany you to all office visits and confirm the whole process, so you can enjoy your free time in our beautiful country!

Our service includes:
Since every case is individual & different, we service each one by:
- Calling & checking all relevant local institutions to confirmed the process
- Filling out required paperwork & arranging a schedule
- Making a reservation for authentication for you if needed (In Taiwan)
- Accompany you with all government processes & supporting all communication
- All physical exam fees, photo fees & Taiwanese license fees are covered in the service
Service process:
1. Message/email the ADor-Biker team to confirm your eligibility
2. Register online & set up a meeting at the ADor-Biker office
3. Meet your support team at the office to review the process, double-confirm eligibility and fill out the required paperwork. (Approx. 1 hour)
*You will receive a full refund if we are not able to assist due to any unforeseen issues
4. We help you apply for authentication of the home license from your embassy/consulate if you haven’t already
5. Final meeting for a medical check, and license conversion processing. You will receive a Taiwanese license immediately (Approx. 1.5-hour)
License Conversion Program FAQ
Q: Can any country convert their license into a Taiwanese one?
A: No, not all countries are eligible to convert their home license to a Taiwanese one. Please send us a FB message or email to see if it has an agreement with Taiwan.
*Please note for the USA, eligibility is based on which state your license is from, not the country as a whole
Q: I want to convert more than one license – is that possible?
A: Yes, you can convert multiple licenses at once (example: car + scooter)! Please note that the program fee is the cost PER license you wish to convert.
Q: How long will it take to convert the license?
A: The biggest time factor is how long it will take your home embassy/consulate to authenticate your home license. Some embassies offer walk-in services, while some require waiting for appointments. They also differ on how long they take to process the authentication.
Q: Are there any additional fees?
A: The program cost covers all Taiwanese processing and government fees, but DOES NOT cover any fees at your home embassy/consulate for the authentication process. Depending on your country, these additional fees might cost approx. $500-$1,000 NTD per license. We will check for you when you come for the consultation.
